Getting in front of the camera can be a terrifying concept for some. During your first shoot you will probably spend at least an hour trying to get comfortable, goofing off, giggling and feeling like nothing is ever going to get done, that is just part of it. Keep in mind: the camera is not a person. It is not judging you.
Having spent a lot of time around cameras I’m less fearful of being in front of them, even still, my first scripted and practiced video resulted in no less than 2 full minutes of bloopers. I’m not judging you either.
Proof:
As you can see in the above video, you will overheat, you will mess up, your tongue along with your brain will forget how to function. But it’s really not as bad as you may think, it’s quite fun. The more you can let go of self judgement the easier it gets. Make some faces, shake it out, do your worst, that’s how we find your best. And remember, we will never publish something you are uncomfortable with the world seeing.
All you need to remember is,
you
are
epic.
Epicosity Studios will handle the rest.
